Carl Bolden

Carl (Bubsy) Bolden has been living at Comforts of Home Assisted Living in River Falls for several years now due to the stroke he suffered in 2001.
In September he was hospitalized,  and we learned his kidney disease had progressed rapidly to Stage 5. When he was released from the hospital, he went to the nursing home facility at Comforts of Home because he needed more care, and shortly after began receiving hospice care through Adoray Home Health & Hospice. 
On Sunday, Dec. 27 (two days after spending Christmas afternoon with us), he fell and broke his hip. He had surgery to repair his hip at the River Falls Hospital, which went well. On Wednesday, Dec. 30 he went back to the nursing home and continues to receive hospice care.
Since his return to the nursing home (which was by ambulance) after his surgery , his health has been declining. He doesn't have much of an appetite and sleeps a lot.
