Carla Davison Come to the Light

So grateful you are visiting my CaringBridge website. I have chosen to use this site to keep family and friends updated in one central place about my recent diagnosis of Stage IV endometrioid adenocarcinoma and my subsequent journey.  I started writing about my journey when I was first diagnosed, some of which I have backdated and shared here. Some of my writings simply document the medical part of my journey, and others are raw responses (occasionally with a little TMI). You will see I am on an emotional roller coaster. Crying and laughing with me are both encouraged.

Amid the ups and downs, I hope you see that my faith is a large part of my journey. Early on, before I was officially diagnosed, I heard what I believe was the Holy Spirit telling me to "come to the light."  Honestly, I don't know if he was preparing me to travel home or if He was reminding me to come along side Jesus for everything I need to get through this season of my life.  Either way, I know Jesus is with me,  that he loves me, and that he wants the best for me.  Thank you for checking in on me and my family, and allowing me to share unconditionally my bad days, as well as the good ones. I appreciate the outpouring of love and support in so many different ways, and all the words of hope and encouragement .
