Cari Drees

The Big C...Cari...Cancer.  I nearly fell out of my chair when I got the call that I had endometrial cancer. Seriously? How is that the case? I'd just had an "unremarkable" ultrasound, and I'm not gonna lie, I was a little offended by that reading! The Dr. told me that everything looked fine, and that when the "just in case" biopsy came back I certainly wasn't expecting my whole world to change. But it did. Thankfully this is a pretty survivable disease...meaning that I am going to kick its a**.
