Carolyn and Jim were in a terrible car crash on Highway 1 coming back from Monterey Sat Sep 28. A white BMW veered into our lane; it wasn't a direct head-on, but was veering to the left, and the impact spun us around 180 degrees and off the road. Carolyn has a broken left hip and tibia, and Jim has a cracked sternum (breastbone) and broken right wrist. Carolyn's surgery on Mon Sep 30 went well. She was in rehab at Vasona Creek Healthcare Center at 16412 Los Gatos Blvd and returned home on Sat Oct 26, when Amy arrived to help us out. Yay! Carolyn probably won't be able to walk unaided until late December. She's camping out on our first floor...:) Jim should be able to avoid surgery but will have his right wrist in a cast until early December. Thanks to all for your support!
