Bruce hasn't been feeling his best lately. Over the past several weeks, he has been undergoing heart testing. On Friday, Oct. 30th he went in for a cardiac catheterization. Immediately thereafter, he was admitted to St. Joes for monitoring. Bruce will receive a quadruple (+?) bypass sometime during the week of Nov. 4-6 most likely. At this time, due to COVID procedures, the only visitor allowed in the hospital is his wife, Cindy.
This is hard on Cindy and on Laura (daughter) because Cindy needs to keep up stamina and take care of herself (and she's still working!) and Laura desperately wishes she could help. Navigating a major surgery and hospital stay during COVID times, is not easy.
Graciously, people have been asking what we need. At this point, we are only in need of your prayers. We will keep everyone updated as needs arise. We also will keep you in the loop on his surgery and the recovery process. Thank you very much for all of your prayers and well wishes. It's during times like these that you truly understand the value of friendship.
