Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

In mid December, Candi was diagnosed with lung cancer and began her journey to recovery with the medical staff at Billings Clinic. Upon meeting with her doctors, it was discovered that not only is she battling a tumor in her lung, but she also had fluid build-up in her good lung, and blood clots in her left leg that needed to be dealt with.  The doctors needed to treat the blood clots and fluid build up first and for most, then they could begin treating the cancer. Breathing had been very difficult for Candi, not only because of the fluid build up, but also because the location of the tumor is blocking air passage to the good lung.

Candi was admitted to ICU at Billings Clinic just before Christmas, and was put on a ventilator to assist with her breathing as she was struggling to get oxygen into her body. Treatment for the blood clots began immediately, and working with the oncology and radiation doctors,  a treatment plan is in progress. Surgery on the tumor is not an option, so at this time, Candi has undergone radiation to begin shrinking the tumor.  The doctors are continually discussing different options for treatment and ways to help Candi breath on her own to remove the breathing tube.

All of your positive  thoughts and prayers will be greatly appreciated. We will make sure Candi has access to any messages that you post for her, Larry, Tanner, and Bailey.
