Three years ago Candace was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.  She decided at that time that she would not be defined by cancer.  She underwent bilateral mastectomy surgery and continued to live life to the fullest.  She chose to focus on her faith in Jesus Christ and loving her family well.  She faced the cancer with courage and optimism.  Recently Candace developed pain that led to an admission to the hospital.  It was determined at that time that her breast cancer had returned and has spread. She is currently home with her family and prayerfully considering her treatment options with the support of her husband Dave and her family.  As you know, Dave and Candace's family has grown to include their now 4 year old son.
Their care needs may include child care, housekeeping, errands and transportation to appointments.  Each family member has different diet needs so in lieu of delivered meals, we are asking for gift cards to Whole Foods Market.

Candace is asking specifically that her condition not be shared on social media like Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.  If you know Candace well, then you understand that it is her faith in Jesus Christ that is the source of her confidence and courage.  Her life has had many health and personal challenges and continually she trusts in His promises.  Her light shines so bright and we are grateful that even now she lives with hope and joy as to what is to come.
