Welcome to Camilla’s Caring Bridge web site. We’ve created the site to help keep her many friends and family in touch with her progress. As many of you know, she has a lung cancer for which surgery will not be the primary mode of therapy. We are working with an extremely able team of radiation and medical oncologists and thoracic surgeons to determine the best way forward. This will most probably be centered around chemotherapy and radiation therapy combinations and surgery if indicated. She is currently in Brigham Women’s Hospital, with members of the team also based in Dana Farber right next door.
We expect her to be discharged from in-patient status as early as tomorrow (Saturday) to home. We also anticipate a day trip to Boston later next week to meet with her team and agree on plans for the next phase.
