Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. On the morning of July 2, 2017 in rural Becker County Cael and Chalee Eystad were involved in a ATV  accident along with three other children. There were 5 children all together, Chalee and Cael were the most seriously injured.  They were airlifted in separate helicopters  to the north memorial hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Cael sustained a broken left hand, broken right wrist, and a separated AC joint in his shoulder. He has since had surgery and is currently recovering. Chalee sustained a collapsed right lung, severely bruised left lung, a severely fractured her pelvis, and a lacerated liver. She is currently stable and in an induced coma at this time. We will keep you updated as things change.
