Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.

On Thursday, January 5 Byron was working in Yarnell Arizona. On Thursday morning he collapsed in his motel room. His room mate called the EMTs who had him airlifted to Prescot Arizona the Yavapai regional medical center. After a day long of tests it was determined that he had  severe tearing of his  aortic artery. They did emergency surgery to replace a big part of that aorta above the heart and put in a new aortic valve. He has a long recovery ahead of him. After three days his physical functions below the neck  are strong. The doctors main concern is his neurological function. We will probably not get any more updates on the complications in his brain in less than 48-72 hours. We will update you as soon as information becomes available.  Thank you for your prayers. we would appreciate any response   And words of encouragement you have to go to this website. thank you very much.
