Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Everett has been feeling sick for many weeks. After many doctors visits and much care, he has been admitted to the hospital for further tests and support. He had an MRI this past weekend, which showed a lump and some lesions. Specialty doctors have been consulted, including a Pediatric Oncologist who suspects Everett may have neuroblastoma cancer. They are doing a biopsy and testing his bone marrow. They anticipate having a more definitive diagnosis once these test results come back, and from there will explore treatment options. Everett continues to be symptomatic throughout, with fever, cough/respiratory issues, pain and fatigue. Heidi and Greg are exhausted as they support their son and each other. They ask for prayer and appreciate your support. There is still a lot that is unknown and thus much stress in the uncertainty-- they intend to share what they discover, when they can.

Please pray for Everett, Heidi and Greg. They trust God to be with them through this difficult time.  They appreciate the love and support of their family and friends, as well as their greater extended family in Christ. We ask God for rest, comfort, provision, healing, hope, reassurance, wisdom, peace, and moments of joy.

Everett continues to be an old soul, charming his medical team, thoughtfully exploring his world, caring about others, and expressing the playful joy of life that five year old boys have, even in the midst of illness and pain.
