Bryer Bilderback begun having vision issues on her eyes in May 2020. After the blurriness continued she met with an ophthalmologist who immediately ordered a MRI where it is was discovered she has a mass in her brain. Her neurologist explained that the mass is pushing on her optic nerve, pituitary gland, and is wrapped around her carotid arteries. Although the doctor is optimistic the mass is benign, surgery will be needed to remove it. Expected date of the surgery is 6/23. She is expected to be in ICU for 3 days and in the hospital for a total of 7. Also, depending on how the surgery goes, she may need a 2nd surgery and/or radiation to remove or shrink the mass. The recovery time is expected to be a minimum of 3 months and up to 12. Please see below on ways you can help Bryer during this challenging time.
