Welcome to Bryce's CaringBridge website. We are using it to update everyone on Bryce's journey as he battles a rare central nervous system tumor. (Actual diagnosis was "Central Nervous System Embryonal tumor- not otherwise specified" but I was told it was previously considered "PNET- Primitive Neuro-Ectodermal Tumor" but with advances in pediatric brain tumors, PNET is for a group of brain/spinal tumors and is actually being reclassified and each tumor is being named based on their molecular features. I am also keeping this journal, incase someone out there gets the same horrible news Mike and I received on September 20, 2021. Maybe a more indepth journal and what walls we faced between side effects and complications, can help a family battling the same battle.
