About a year and a half ago, Bryan was diagnosed with Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis. His disease progressed quickly. He was officially placed on the lung transplant list at the University of MN Medical Center right before the New Year. Eight days later, the call came that we had a match. Two lungs, that we would learn were a perfect match, were ready for him. He had his double lung transplant that same day, on January 5th, 2016.
