Bruce Wilson

First post: Nov 20, 2016
Many of you know that Bruce was treated last year (November 2015) for a lung cancer tumor in the middle lobe of his lung. After being treated (Stereotactic body radiation), his CT scans were clear (February 2016). Each follow up revealed that his cancer status was clear. Unfortunately, the last CT showed cancer in his lungs and liver.  We are now launching on a new journey to learn about survivorship and life with lung cancer. this website is free and will be a way we can keep you informed about our new "normal" and how to support Bruce.
Bruce has been diagnosed with non-small cell adnocarcinomal. He has been staged at stage IV because it is in his lymph nodes (hilar and subcarinal) and has spread to his liver. He will have a port put in on Monday November 21, 2016 and will start receiving chemo on Monday, November 28, 2016.
This is quite a shock as you can imagine, but Bruce is a practical man and he is facing this diagnosis with bravery and hopefulness. We thank you for your prayers and well wishes.
