Hello all this is Brandilyn Stockdale! I welcome you to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.
Bruce was unfortunately diagnosed with colorectal cancer in June of 2016. Since then he has been SO STRONG and BRAVE by taking on several different chemotherapy treatments to fight his stage 4 disease. He has visited multiple specialists from Rochester to Houston to Fargo to Minot. He is a true warrior and is willing to try anything to fight for his life and family..... he amazes me everyday! I can only pray to be half as strong as him in my entire life...
Today, Bruce is on his second round of oral chemotherapy (there are 3 rounds total). He is almost finished with taking his pills until his next round which will begin in March. After that, we will then be rechecking with Mayo on March 30th to see how he is responding. We continue to ask for prayers, positive thoughts, and support as I believe this current therapy has to be the hardest on his body I have seen.....
He is now staying in Rugby and I would love for anyone to just stop by and say hello. The more support he knows he has with him, the better he feels!
Feel free to post any words of hope and encouragement.... pictures.... or anything you want for him to see :) I will be sure that he looks at this often!
