Bruce Gossen

Here is a brief recap of what is happening in Bruce's life recently.


The beginning of March he went in for some routine doctor checkups and some tests came back and showed that he had cancer.  After several visits, blood work and tests it was discovered that he had kidney cancer.  The tumor on his kidney was massive, and it was determined that the left kidney would need to be removed.  The right kidney is tumor/cancer free and there was no evidence of cancer in the bones, which is great news.  More tests revealed that the left Adrenal Gland and some of the lymph nodes would also need to be removed during surgery.


The cancer has moved in to his lungs and they will have to treat that with chemo once he recovers from his surgery.   They will also take a look at his colon, spleen, and pancreas to see if anything needs to be taken during surgery.  


Once he recovers from his surgery they will move on to the next phase and treat the lung cancer and any other cancer that might be there.
