Brooks was diagnosed with a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) at our 20 week anatomy ultrasound. It's been a long few months of understanding exactly how this type of congenital birth defect will impact him. One of the first things we were told is that CDH is a marathon, with many ups and downs along the way. But it's finally time for his arrival, our sweet March baby! We wanted to setup a place for friends and family to visit in order to receive the most recent health updates of our Tiny Hero. We know that Brooks will be a fighter, he has already beaten a lot of odds! Hopefully all his kicking in mom's belly is a good indication of the tenacity and fighter he has in him. Every CDH journey is different, but we are very ready to finally meet our son and appreciate all thoughts, prayers and positivity for him in the coming days, weeks and months.
