Brooklyn Faith Durham was born October 12, 1996. At the age of 3, she was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL). After relapses in Oct 2002, March 2006, and in July 2007. Brooklyn received her Heavenly Crown on January 2, 2009 at 9:03pm. Please pray for our family as our lives move forward without our Princess.
In March of 2000, on a Tuesday night, I was awaken by Brooklyn crying, saying that her legs were hurting. After giving tylenol and no relief, she continued to cry. The next morning she was taken to the Dr. There we were told to go to UK in Lexington to the ER. After blood work was done, I was told that Brooklyn had leukemia. She was admitted that day, a spinal and a bone marrow was done the next day along with chemo. OUR LIVES were turned upside down. After completing chemo in May of 2002, we thought this horrible nightmare was over....we shortly learned on October 16, 2002 it had just begun. Now, 8 years and 9 months later after 3 relapses, after treatment after treatment....she is now on Palliative Care with Hospice. Brooklyn is a fighter.... she says that she is not giving up. Everyday is a BONUS day from GOD. We ask that you please pray for her and our family. We have seen the LORD move time and time again. We continue to pray for another MIRACLE.
