This site has been being used during Brooke’s recovery and healing following Covid pneumonia/ARDS that began on July 12. 2021. On October 27, Brooke was transferred to the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital located on the 6A floor of the Bowling Green Medical Center. Before that, Brooke was at the UK Hospital in Lexington for almost 12 weeks in the ICU and on ECMO and a vent during most of that time.

Although we are posting less frequently now because of Brooke’s rapid recovery, we have been using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place. Thank you so much for your support and for your words of hope and encouragement during these past few months. We are continuing to see God’s hand at work as we stand and believe for Brooke’s complete healing.
