Welcome to Brogan's Story. We will use this to post the latest information on Brogan's treatments and progress.

We are at MD Anderson and have met with her doctor. He has now confirmed the initial diagnosis of Nodular Sclerosis Hodgkin's Lymphoma Stage 2A. We are having additional tests done today and tomorrow. Based on the initial diagnosis, she will have to have Chemotherapy and should not have to have Radiation. This is good news.

Based on the test results and scans the doctor felt it has been developing over several months. He is very optimistic that the Chemo will have an immediate affect on the size of the mass. The overall Chemo treatment will still be needed for up to 6 months. He is confident that it can be completely cured. We are working now to minimize the short and long term side affects of the treatment. She will be treated as an outpatient, however her treatments will be every two weeks.

She is in good spirits and trusts that God has a plan for her life.
