I was diagnosed with classical Hogdkins Lymphoma, stage 2a on 7/7/17.  I have a big cancerous spot near the top of my right lung, 3 lymph nodes in my right chest / neck area that are cancerous and potentially a lymph node in my nose that is infected too.  I started chemo on 7/27/17, they call it a cocktail of drugs (ABVD) and I'll have at least 4 rounds maybe more.  I go every other week for chemo.  Once chemo is done I'm slated to do 2-3 weeks of Radiation in Rochester.  They want me to do a special kind called Proton therapy.  I'm a good candidate because of my age, type of cancer and they have special radiation that can better target my spots.
