In the summer of 2017 I was in a car accident.   I wasn't healing quite normally.  I went threw a slew of tests and scans.  No one could really figure out what was going on.  


Fast forward to the Fall of 2018
I was asked bt my Oncologist to go in to Kaiser and have a recheck PET scan to see if anything had changed.  There were changes.... I then went in for another MRI to see things better.  That made the drs want to do a biopsy.   I had a biopsy done in my right lymphnode, nothing conclusive came from it except for a hint of throid cancer.  I then was sent in to have more blood tests and a ultrasound of my thryoid before going to see the Endocrinologist. I had needle biopsy's done in the office.  Today she called me back and I have been diagnosed with metastatic papillary thyroid cancer.  The next step if for me to see another surgeon, the one that will be taking out my thryoid and my cancer.
