Welcome to Bri’s CaringBridge website.  We wish to use it to keep family and friends updated in one place, and allow you all to send notes to Dad & Mom. Mom has provided a summary of the past year below in her first journal entry, since Dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer.  This disease has taken an extreme toll on him over the past 2 months and he has rapidly deteriorated.  His food intake is very minimal and he is very tired.  He is now a palliative patient and is comfortable at home under Mom’s excellent care, and with support from friends, family and our medical community. While we appreciate many may want to come visit, please realize that Dad’s energy is very minimal and we are as a family trying to make as much of his time as we can over the next couple of months.  Please use this site to send notes to Dad & Mom, and of course continue to reach out to Mom as you have been.  Marilyn will let you know if he is up for a visit, and she will of course appreciate it too.  We are all grateful for your love and support.  - Carter & Riley
