Welcome to our CaringBridge website. As you may know January 20, 2017, Brian went to the ER at Northwestern thinking he had a severe flu. Hours later, Brian was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Melanoma. It has now spread to his brain, his lungs, lymph nodes, and much more. Since the day he was diagnosed, we have contacted so many of the local hospitals, each time telling us that without insurance there was nothing they would be able to do. As you can imagine, the frustration set in, and as a family we have done everything we can to try to get Brian treatment.

We have contacted every organization that you can think of. However, since Brian is a server, and didn’t have insurance when this bombshell was released upon him it has been very unsuccessful. He did apply and pay for insurance online, but come to find out it will not be active until March 1, 2017. We will be using this platform to keep Brian's family (friends) updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
