Wednesday September 7th, we found ourselves in the ER at Waconia. He had been vomiting violently since Tuesday with Severe stomach pains. After a lot of lab work , ultrasound,  and CT scan.  He was diagnosed with Severe Pancreatitis,  Severe dehydration. Moved to ICU,  with more labs. To our horror,  his Trycliserides were unreasonable,  over 2300, average adult is 120. Transferred by ambulance to Abbott later that day.He has gone through 3 what I call blood plasma cleanings.  Average person has one. He is the first for 3. We have gotten his Trycliserides to the 200's,  left ICU late Saturday afternoon. He is still on fluids,  still on Potassium for his heart, watching his kidneys. Since moving to the 4th floor,  we now have are trying to find the right medications for him. He has had some confusion and delusional with the meds he was on before. He has also developed an infection somewhere and most importantly problems with his liver. He just had another CT scan,  so we wait for that result and other lab work. He is extremely sleep deprived and blood pressure has risen, on oxygen and IV drip. We appreciate any little good news and prepare for the crappy news (which more frequently )We will get through this,   we have our faith,  our family and a lot of love and prayers. This is not something I have done before,  actually my sister in-law Vici is the pro at this. But will try to keep this updated.
