Brian Peace

July 9, 2017:  Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place on Brian Peace's medical condition. Brian has been under the care of a gastrointerologist for a while for an inflamed liver.  In the past couple of weeks he has been retaining  fluid and it became apparent that he needed to go to the hospital.   Yesterday he was admitted to Northside-Forsyth in Cumming, GA  because of the toxins his body is retaining, it is affecting his ability to clearly communicate or process information so he is not likely to be able to respond to phone calls or texts to his phone.  


We have been advised that he has cirrhosis  and it apppears that his kidneys have shut down due to his diseased liver.  A liver transplant will be needed for him to live and we are praying  that he will be accepted to one of the two liver transplant centers locally, Piedmont Hospital or Emory. We will make regular updates here as information becomes available.
