On November 14th, Brianna was taken to a sick doctor's appointment. From there, we were sent to have an ultrasound of her liver. This is where we heard the words "tumors" and "neuroblastoma." Within 4 hours of the sick doctor's appointment, we were sitting in Duke's ER. After x-rays, a CT scan, and surgery, we finally were told that Brianna has Stage 4S Neuroblastoma and her chemotherapy treatments began on Sunday, November 19th. And so, our journey has begun. This has been created to give family and friends an opportunity to follow the latest information.
