Brianna Marie Delve

Brianna moved to Los Robles Acute Rehabilitation Facility in Westlake Village, CA after being at the USC Keck Hospital for 30 days.  She was in ICU for 17 days where she was in critical condition since her surgery on March 30, 2017.  She was at USC's Keck Hospital from March 24 to April 24, 2017.  Brianna was initially admitted to the Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks on March 21st.  It was here where the doctors discovered she had suffered a stroke (or series of strokes) from a disease called Moyamoya.  USC's  Neurosurgery team performed the procedure on Thursday, March 30th, 2017.

Please pray that Brianna makes it to calmer waters.  The neurosurgeons said the 6 hour procedure went well, but Brianna did not respond well after her brain surgery.  Unfortunately CT and MRI scans showed that she had suffered a hemorrhagic  stroke during her operation.   She has had to endure several ups and downs.

Brianna's road to recovery will be very long and arduous.   The extent of her full burden is unknown.  The good news is that she has been making very slow but steady progress after a couple severe setbacks.  We wish to thank you for your prayers and well wishes - they really make a difference!
