Brian is a devoted husband, step father, and Grandpa, he became very ill this winter 2016-17. He was hospitalized on February 20th, 2017 in Spencer, Iowa. He was referred to Mayo within a week. We have found out that his condition has worsened. He was born with 1 kidney and a possible deadened kidney had been hidden until it started to fester into a severe infection. He is at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.
