Brian was first diagnosed with  "low grade, non-aggressive" prostate cancer in October, 2017.  Since then, he has been a patient following a surveillance approach - getting blood tests every six months to monitor PSA numbers but not needing treatment.  In December, 2019, after a second biopsy and with strong recommendations from some of his friends who have traveled this similar journey, he sought a second opinion in Atlanta at the Cancer Treatment Center of America facility.  During the December visit, we learned that the cancer's status at that time was not what his doctors at home had indicated - that his data numbers were actually a bit lower than we thought.  Praise the Lord!  We went home, knowing he would return in six months for a follow-up.

In May, 2020, he did a blood test in Amarillo, had the results sent to CTCA in Atlanta, and then they called him to return to CTCA the following week.  His test results revealed a change in the cancer, and now he is a candidate for treatment.

We have been so impressed with the facility in Atlanta, the team of doctors, nutritionists, and naturopathic specialists!   We appreciate their diligence and their ability to get things done in a timely manner since everything Brian needs is on the one campus!  They pay for his travel arrangements, set him up in a local hotel near CTCA that charges a very minimal price, and basically see to all of his needs.

We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting our site here.
