Well... I am sure that this has been said a thousand times on this site, but I never thought that I would be on here for me!     I have been feeling tired and like I have had the flu for the last 8 weeks.    On Friday we got confirmation that I have cancer of the esophagus and it has spread to my liver.    Not the best of news that anyone would like to have, especially on a Friday.  🤓. Yes, I am still funny!     Today I had a port inserted into my chest to allow me to start chemotherapy tomorrow morning, Wednesday.    Going to be in a chair for 4 to 6 hours and then they will send me home with a drip chemo for 48 more hours.
So many people have reached out to Anya, Max and Me to wish us well.    It’s almost been like an out of body experience, as I am the one that is suppose to give not receive.
I need to thank Anya, Max, my parents and my favorite sister for all their support.   Also, huge thank you to Kirk for paving the way for success and giving me hope.   You fought and beat this, Now its my turn!    Price, Thank You for being my role model of courage and strength.   Lastly,  My Edward Jones Family,   What can I say, except your support means so much to Anya, Max and Me!  Wow!
Tomorrow starts the FIGHT!   Time to go WIN!
Appreciate you all!
Cheers
BD
