Brewster Carroll

On November 9th we received the shocking news that Brewster has stage IV cancer.  Finally after three painfully long weeks of endless tests, it was confirmed last Monday to be kidney cancer.  Yesterday, November 27th, we met with both radiology and medical oncologists at UCSF to layout a targeted treatment plan, which will hopefully begin by mid-week, so we're extremely thankful to finally get things rolling.  While we know this diagnosis is very serious, we are also very hopeful.  We've come to learn that there are close to 20 medications to treat this cancer, where there was only a few just 15 years ago.
