Brett started losing his voice in Nov 2016. After tests he was diagnosed with stage 3 Lung cancer. The cancer had to spread to the lymph nodes by the heart, so removing it is not an option. Radiation was able to take care of the cancer in the lung, however the cancer just moved to a spot where radiation could not reach. The cancer is now spreading and a new weekly chemo treatment is being discussed.
