Bret is not able to write this ,he has suffered a bad accident and is in a trauma center fighting to come back to his wife, family and friends .On Monday Jan 16th ,Brett was off school and so was his grandson (wife Tammy baby sitting ) in  orange park . He got on the motorcycle and headed up 95 from Palm Coast.  As far as it can be figured the car in front of him slowed down suddenly ,leaving Brett no time or place to go but into her,he was ejected from the bike prior to the bike hitting the pavement . He was airlifted to trauma center at orange park medical ,a craniatomy was performed to release the pressure from his brain and surgery to stop the bleeding . He suffered facial fractures ,multiple broken ribs ,both lungs colapsed, and some damage to spleen. During this surgery time Tammy was trying to contact Brett to find out why he was so late. In the mean time ,Tammy's daughter Jen was working and received an alert that 95 was closed ,as she researched to find an alternate route Brett she suddenly recognized the motorcycle that closed 95 was Brett's. Ironically Brett was minutes away from Tammy for several hours prior to her knowing what had transpired. Brett is on a machine to breath for him ,he has a trachiatomy ,several tubes to drain fluid from his brain and lungs ,he also has multiple lines for antibiotics ,and various drugs and fluids. They have temporarily put his brain to sleep so it can rest and heel ,they will assess the damages in 7_10 days . He is in critical condition. Tammy is as best as she can be .
