This is certainly something I never thought I would do. Create a Blog/Web site about my journey with lung cancer. I am age 59, raised old fashioned, miss the old days when you never locked a front door, a phone didn't ring every minute in your purse, peace was always present. How times have changed and most of the time I think not for the better.
I am therefore starting this blog for anyone to read, for anyone to email me, for it is my hope I can help someone out there newly diagnosed with cancer -- and you can help me too. We are all trying to cope. My diagnosis just happens to be Stage III IV lung cancer but all cancer is awful. And, hard to face. Whether Stage 1 or Stage IV -- you will never be the same again hearing those words. We can fight this together. Just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
May God bless you and keep you safe -- and somehow give you life after your own cancer diagnosis. I am praying for a second chance and a better life AFTER cancer myself. All I did was work, work, work. Not anymore.
From this day forward -- we all live in hope. Love to you. Bren
