Hi, my name is Brenda Pepper, I am 53 years old and live in Kingwood, Texas (just north of downtown Houston) with my husband Pat (an awesome guy, by the way), my son Jairus who makes me so proud to be his mother and our pet's; Charlie is an Australian Shepard, Popcorn is a Chihuahua (she thinks she's the Shepard) and Duncan is a Ferret.
Recently I was diagnosed with Stage IIIA - T3 - N2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer and I am being treated at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas which is only 37 miles south of my home in Kingwood. MD Anderson is the world leader in Cancer Research and treatment, so I am fortunate to be under their care.
Because it will be impossible to talk with everyone every day, the purpose of this web page is to keep you informed of my progress and my journey.
Although my journey has just begun, I expect there will be good days, followed by some bad days, so please walk beside me and hold my hand as I travel down this long road and keep me in your prayers.
