Hello Family and friends,

I decided that this would be the best way for us to stay In touch during the course of my treatment and recovery from Amyloidosis. As most of you know by now in July, 2017, I was diagnosed with the aforementioned rare disease. There are several types of Amyloidosis. I have AL. This is a life threatening disease that can now be treated with chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplant.

I have been blessed that it was diagnosed early, it has only affected my kidneys and I have been found physically able to undergo the chemo and stem cell transplant. Praise the Lord!!

I will receive treatment at The Emory Bone Marrow Transplant/Stem Cell Transplant Center in Atlanta. I am scheduled to be there a little over one month. I will return to Atlanta on Monday, September 18th to begin the process.

Thank you all for caring about me and Larry. God has been so faithful to us. We covet your prayers. We love you , each and everyone.
