Hello and thanks for visiting. I am using this website to keep family and friends updated in one place. I appreciate and I am so grateful for your support and words of hope and encouragement.

I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductile Carcinoma on February 26. Grade 1 (slow growing). Cancer has traveled to one lymph node. The doctors are recommending chemotherapy, followed by surgery (lumpectomy) and  radiation. Then there will be targeted infusions every 3 weeks for a year, but don’t have the harsh side effects. They are planning to shrink the tumor and possibly eradicate the cancer so that surgery is less invasive. I will have a port placed on 3/11/21 and chemo will follow shortly. There will be 6 hard core chemotherapy treatments spaced 3 weeks apart. The first two are March 25 and April 15.

Although I am not looking forward to the upcoming treatments, I am grateful that this was found early and that it is completely curable. In order to get to the other side, I must now walk through the fire. The Lord is my strength and in God I will place my trust.
