Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.

Please feel free to comment or post pictures.  I will be updating this as often as I can to keep everyone posted.  Thank you so much for your continued prayers and words of hope and encouragement supporting us through this difficult time.   Thank you for visiting.

Brandon has an adventurous spirit.  He made a decision to travel and see the world.  His first trip took him to Australia in November of 2015. He made many friends in Australia who he toured the area with.  He eventually found work doing different things.  In May of 2016 he had a long-boarding accident and he broke his leg close to his ankle.  This brought him back to Alaska because he required surgery.  He still has a plate and screws in his right leg as a result from that.  After his recovery he went to Valdez and worked at Fish Central with his dad and brothers.

He was soon making plans to travel again and he saved up money to go to Arizona.  He wanted to visit the area and possibly get a job at the Grand Canyon.  His flight left Anchorage to Phoenix late Saturday night the 29th of October.  Some longtime family  friends were able to pick him up from Phoenix on the 30th  and take him to their home in Prescott.

During his first day there he was long-boarding with a friend and took a bad fall going down a steep hill.  He was medevaced to John C. Lincoln hospital in Phoenix.  His fall resulted in several injuries including a fractured neck, nose, and severe brain injuries.

Shaun and I were called immediately and left within a few hours to Phoenix.
