Brandon is in the ICU at Hennepin County Medical Center, fighting for his life due to multiple organ failures. We don't know how long Brandon will be hospitalized, but the doctors tell the family it will be at least a month. This Caring Bridge site is initiated by long-time friends of the family, Karin Haidos and Paul & Joan Goossens. We've watched Brandon grow up through his friendship with our sons, Nico and Jude, and we are heartbroken. Brandon has always been a sincere, kind and loyal friend. While Brandon is hospitalized, his mother, Daniela Scardaci, incurs significant travel and lodging expenses as she resides in Duluth.
