Brandon Charles Dreyer

Welcome. We've created this page to keep friends and family updated about our son, Brandon Charles Dreyer.

Brandon was born with a severe congenital heart condition called hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Essentially, he was born with half a heart. After two open-heart surgeries, Brandon developed heart failure that progressed rapidly after his 19-month birthday. During his hospital stay, he needed CPR 4 times, underwent a 3rd open-heart procedure to have an artificial venrticular device placed and 8 days later had a heart transplant.

It's taken many miracles to get to today... this is his story.
