Welcome to Brady's CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most. Brady was involved in a terrible car accident on Thursday February 18, 2016 at approximately 10am. He was driving northbound on 52 and his car was struck by a garbage truck turning left onto I-90W just south of Rochester, MN. Brady is currently in critical, but stable condition. He sustained severe injuries including: skull fracture, traumatic brain injury, multiple broken bones, collapsed lung, and a severe laceration to his leg. Brady underwent a lengthy neurosurgery on Thursday where the doctors where they were able to reduce the swelling in his brain by making a small hole in his skull to relieve the pressure. His brain does continue to swell at times, but so far they have not had to use medication to control the swelling. Brady will need multiple surgeries in the near future to repair his crushed pelvic bone as well as some other, less critical injuries.
