Brad was diagnosed with liver cancer in the summer of 2017. He received Therasphere Y90 treatment 11/28/17. The treatment was effective in slowing down the tumor growth and significantly reducing the tumor marker count in his blood initially. Since that treatment, he started taking Nexavar, a chemotherapy drug, to continue to slow down the tumor growth. Doctors have described his cancer as "stable" as a result of the Nexavar. The chemo side effects are significant, which has resulted in reducing the dosage below the therapeutic recommended dose.
