Saturday June 3, Brad was involved in an accident while racing figure 8 races at the Webster County Fairgrounds. He was t-boned on his drivers side by a driver at approx 40 - 50 mph. The rules of the road in this race, yield to the driver side. Unfortunately, even with the extra protection Brad outfitted himself with, he sustained injuries that will require a long recovery and multiple surgeries.
Brad's current injuries are a crushed pelvis and hip ball socket, a broken femur as well as a broken wrist. He is being cared for at University Of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, Iowa. Brad is currently undergoing multiple surgeries and is looking at 2 months in University of Iowa minimum, as well as several months of rehab.
If you feel led to donate to help Brad and Andrea with their daily expenses, in an effort to get Brad back to normalcy, Brad and Andrea's local church set up an account for them.
