My life drastically changed in February 2017, when I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, an incurable but treatable blood cancer. It destroys bones and causes damage to kidneys, liver, heart and lungs. No two patient diagnosis are the same, as is the treatment prescribed for each patient. In the majority of cases, a stem cell transplant is needed to put the cancer in remission after an initial treatment of chemotherapy, as long as the patient is healthy and young enough to recieve it. The burdens of this disease are immense, physicaly, spiritualy, emotionaly, and financially. As stated earlier, support, including financial, and words of hope and encouragement is greatly appreciated. I live my life one day at a time, take nothing for granted, and love and forgive as commanded by Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. After God, my family is what inspires me to stay strong in this new journey. Love to all an God Bless!
