Everyone who knows Bonnie knows that she loves to travel. Her favorite activity is riding in the car and seeing the beauty of God's creation all around her. She has traveled to many places, and some of the family's best memories are the road trips which were taken every year mostly to the mountains of the West. Another special place is the North Shore of Lake Superior. Bonnie and Dan spent their honeymoon there, celebrated anniversaries there, and have returned many times.
Now Bonnie is preparing for her final journey. She has been recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. It is in the advanced stage and her time here on earth will come to an end very soon. She is now living in a nursing facility with hospice services. Although this is very sad news for Bonnie and her family, we also have many blessings to be thankful for. One blessing is that Bonnie has received and will continue to receive exceptional care from where she was hospitalized, from her family, the nursing facility, and through hospice services. Another blessing is that her best friend and devoted husband of 66 years is able to stay with her at the facility. They have been together for all these years and they will continue to be together until the very end.
Everyone who knows Bonnie and even those who she has just recently met know that she is a kind, gentle, and caring person and it is a pleasure to be able to be with her. We encourage you to reach out to Bonnie and let her know how much you love and appreciate her. Please post your notes on the Caringbridge page to her and her family. We will share these messages with her. If you want to visit her in person, please contact Daniel and he will advise when it would be best to do so. Email Daniel at email@example.com or call or text him at 612-390-0338.
Thank you to everyone who has loved and supported Bonnie and the entire Krueger family.
