Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Here's a brief recap of Bob's illness: 
Bob became ill in November with an aggressive bacterial infection that came out of nowhere and completely bowled him over in one day’s time. He went into septic shock and organ failure. He spent several weeks recovering in the ICU at Christus St. Vincent hospital in Santa Fe, and he is now in a long-term acute care hospital  in Albuquerque to finish getting off of ventilator support. Once he is off the ventilator he’ll be able to focus on rehabilitation through physical and occupational therapy in order to regain strength and mobility. We expect that Bob will make a complete recovery, but it will take time.
