A few months ago I found out that my aortic valve in my heart was not working so well. It had become calcified and stiff causing a loud heart murmur. After many tests and visits to my cardiologist, it was determined that I needed to have the valve replaced with a cow valve. Go figure! They wouldn't let me bring my own cow!! The surgery is scheduled for Friday, March 3rd very early in the morning. After surgery I will be in intensive care for a couple of days, so will only be able to have immediate family visitors. We thought Caring Bridge would be an easy way for friends and family to get updated information quickly. Thank you all for your prayers these past few days.
