Hello Family and Friends,

Many of you already know that Bob has been in the hospital since Feb 21. He had emergency surgery that same day. He has been in and out and back in ICU since then. He had a ruptured Meckles diverticulum. Infection was severe. Many of his bodily functions have been compromised. He is currently intubated and receiving dialysis. He has a good prognosis for his kidneys to refunction and his breathing has greatly improved. His lungs were affected by the fluid that build up in his body. Tomorrow they will put a PEG in his stomach to help with nuirishment and on Wed. they hope to extibate him. (Take out the breathing tube).

Both Bobby and our son in law (Mark) work at Hilton Head Hospital where Bob is. Many professionals are diligently looking after his care. I have so much family support. My sister Jane has been sending out periodic reports for which I’m very grateful.
I thought the caringbridge website might help serve as an information station.

Thank you for all the prayers, calls, cards, and good food I’ve gotten. I know Bob will thank you too when he’s up and about.
Love Mo
